How to create a FORMULA ROUTE Title

0. What you need:

  1. Platform TM- Valley- RAID by Meuh21
  2. MPEUnlimiter by Phil13hebert
  3. MOB Object bydarmaya

1. Creating the Base Map

  1. MPEUnlimiter, launch RAID, EDIT
  2. Load the MOB , in this case a snowy mountain
  3. Define the Start and Finish and insert a checkPoint halfway

2. Creating ROUTES

  1. Track a ROUTE before inserting frequent CheckPoints
  2. Track a second ROUTE , trying to keep the travel time the most ' similar as possible , adding NEW checkpoint.
  3. Repeat as many times as you want , always ADDING CheckPoints .

3. Definition of SINGLE ROUTES
At this point you better define ROUTES, adding signals, signs , decorations, to finish the map .

  1. Save the map with the name of the first map of the first level , eg A1
  2. Remove all of the checkpoints that do not relate to the first ROUTE and replace them with neutral pieces
  3. Create the replay- ghost- medals , save SINGLE CLIPS

4. Creating Map Free

  1. Open the First SINGLE ROUTE Map, remove unnecessary Checkpoints and leave only the central one.
  2. Upload all SINGLE CLIPS INRACE and OUTRO
  3. Validate and save

Come creare un FORMULA ROUTE Titolo

Per creare le mappe ho usato tre tools:

  1. Piattaforma TM-Valley-RAID di Meuh21
  2. MPEUnlimiter di Phil13hebert
  3. MOB Object di darmaya
Creazione della Mappa Base
  1. Ho creato una nuova mappa in RAID con MPEUnlimiter in RAID
  2. Ho inserito il MOB, in questo caso una montagna innevata
  3. Ho definito lo Start ed il Finish ed inserito un chechpoint a meta strada
Creazione delle ROUTES
  1. Ho tracciato una prima ROUTE, inserendo frequenti CheckPoints
  2. Ho tracciato una seconda ROUTE, cercando di tenere i tempi di percorrenza il piu' simili possibile, aggiungendo NUOVI checkpoint.
  3. Ripetere quante volte si voglia, sempre AGGIUNGENDO CheckPoints.
Definizione delle SINGLE ROUTES
A questo punto si definiscono meglio le ROUTES, aggiungendo Segnali, Cartelli, decorazioni, fino a terminare la mappa.
  1. Salvare la mappa col nome della prima mappa del primo livello, ad es A1
  2. Togliere tutti i checkpoints che non riguardano la prima ROUTE e sostituirli con pezzi neutri
  3. Creare i replay-ghost-medals, salvare le SINGLE CLIPS
Creazione Mappa Libera
  1. Aprire la Prima SINGLE ROUTE Map, togliere i Checkpints superflui e lasciare solo quello centrale.
  2. Caricare tutti i SINGLE CLIPS INRACE e in OUTRO
  3. Validare e salvare

Formula Route

Formula Route is a simple formula that does not requires script,
but just a smart use of the existing resources.

How to build a FORMULA ROUTE Map
Multi-Route maps are uneasy to build because of the difficulty to trace similar-timing paths.
This formula allows the building of near-timed single colored routes the
1) Buld a map and fix Start and Finish.
2) Build 8 routes going from start to finish. This is the Free map.
3) Paint your basic car in 8 color
4) Open the Free map and start to detail the first colored route, adding checkpoints and colored arrows. Do not modify the Free map. Save with the color-name
4bis) Repeat for 8 colors
4tris) invert Start with finish and save, You have now 16 maps + 2 free
5) Open the First color map you saved and record more than 3 ghosts in RACE. Choose the best 3 times. Color the cars, name the ghosts, save the color-CLIP (not the map)
5bis) repeat for 8 colors
6) Open the Free map and load all the color-clip, save the cumulative clip.
7) Open the first color map and in RACE substitute the 3 ghosts with the cumulative clip
7bis) repeat for 8 colors
8) open the Free map and set the Medals with the times of your ghosts
8bis) repeat for 8 colors
9) validate Free map
9bis) repeat fos 8 colors
10) Build variations of Free map, easing passages, making secret routes, adding shortcuts

ADVANTAGES
A Formula Route map has 3 main vantages:
1) Valorize the building of a map, utilizing every aspect of the Environment you invented.
2) Let you build a progressive path for learning all the 8 Routes, not only the fastest.
3) Let you express in differents style of Routes (asphalt, terrain, concrete), adding adventurous jumps and creative solutions.
4) The driver is challenged from Medals adversaries all toghter, acting as GPS and competition meter.
